Find out if we are the right fit for you and your dog.
Dogs, like all animals, are shaped by both nature and nurture. Behavior isn't solely dictated by genetics or how they were raised—it's a complex interaction of factors. Modern issues arise because captivity and breeding disrupt this natural balance, leading to "behavior problems."
The first step to helping your dog is understanding the truth behind their behavior. With that knowledge, you can take meaningful steps to meet your dog's needs and ensure they thrive as your companion.
🐾 Success Stories
We were dealing with an anxious dog and mounting aggression with her and our other pup. We had tried training classes, had a trainer come to our home, anxiety meds, online courses, but we were still missing something and our dogs were not thriving. We reached out to Carrie after some research online, and thank goodness we did. Every penny was an investment towards us truly understanding BOTH of our dogs better, their needs, their triggers, their psychology, and how to make our home a better place for them to thrive. Carrie took the time to get to know our dogs and us, she never felt like a trainer coming by for one session and leaving, but a part of our pack, completely invested in its success.
Since working with Carrie we have not had a fight break out in our home in over a year, seen both dogs bond with one another better than before, gone on a road trip with our anxious pup and best of all feel like we have our home back, our little pack better than before.
I am writing with heartfelt thanks for your work helping me understand my dog, (Dog) at the event hosted by the [training club]. You taught me to give the sights and sounds of my neighbors a specific term among other pieces of advice. The practice of calling other people “neighbors” and talking to (Dog) about his surveillance and alert behaviors have changed our experience. It has revolutionized his behavior and my response. As a result, he and I are communicating more. (Dog’s) behavior is closer to information sharing and less a total loss of self control at the fence and the window. (Dog) is happier. I am happier. There is so much more that is happening here at home and on adventures away from the house. I cannot thank you enough for teaching me how to provide the best life possible for my boy, (Dog).
Carrie was a tremendous support to our family during a difficult time with our dogs. She was flexible with scheduling, provided valuable skills to help reduce impulsive and aggressive behaviors, and ensured we felt safe while making necessary changes.
Thanks to Carrie’s guidance, we now live in a more relaxed environment where we truly enjoy our dogs instead of feeling constantly on edge. I’ve gained a deeper understanding of my dogs’ reactions and learned how to calm them using different resources.
Before Carrie came to us, I felt hopeless and anxious, believing nothing would change. Working with her was a comfort—she was open, supportive, and always ready with creative solutions. We would absolutely call on her again.
